LEXUS TO DEBUT NEW PERFORMANCE ACCESSORY LINE AT 2007 SEMA SHOW
On Tuesday, October 30, Lexus will unveil an all-new performance accessory line at the 2007 Special
Equipment Marketing Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas. Lexus’ appearance will mark the
division’s first official participation in SEMA, an aftermarket show where more than 100,000 industry
leaders from over 100 countries showcase the latest in automotive products, electronics, and the
hottest accessories.
“The SEMA Show is the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world, and
Lexus is thrilled to participate this year,” said Brian Bolain, National Lexus Interactive and Automotive
Events Manager. “SEMA is the perfect venue for the launch of our new performance line, to display
our performance-oriented project vehicles and showcase our all-new Lexus IS F high-performance
sport sedan.”
Lexus will premier the new performance accessory line at a noon press conference on October
30. The press conference will be in the Lexus exhibit tent located outside adjacent to the Central Hall
of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The exhibit tent sits next to the Motor Trend Proving Ground
powered by Lexus, where the 400-plus horsepower performance-tuned IS F will be available for test
drives.
The drives are offered in 15-minute intervals Tuesday through Thursday on the proving ground
track. Scott Pruett, Lexus’ 2007 Grand Am Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona champion, will be on hand to
lend some advice to those ready to take their turn behind the wheel of the 5-liter V8-powered IS F.
For a chance to drive the IS F on the Motor Trend Proving Ground, SEMA Show registered members
can simply go to www.lexus.com/isfdrive and sign up for a lap around the circuit.
For those wanting an off-track experience with the IS F, Lexus will provide two virtual driving
options. Located in the Lexus exhibit area will be an IS F mounted to a rear-wheel dynamometer,
which will allow attendees to experience the high-performance feel, sound, and power that the IS F
has to offer. SEMA members can sit behind the wheel of the IS F and, using a pair of paddles located
within a fingertip’s reach, perform ultra-fast upshifts. Gear changes come within a tenth of a second.
Downshifts are accompanied by incredibly precise throttle blips to match engine rpm to vehicle speed.

motorcycles and accessories, announced the newest addition to the 2008 model lineup
crossing the boundaries into the personal transportation marketplace.

industry’s first limited production V8 powered quadra-cycle being offered from Bourget’s

MPG.

of vehicle that customers can get excited about, feel comfortable about riding, and
customize it like the hot rods of the past with relative ease” said Roger Bourget,
President of Bourget’s Bike Works, “These machines will appeal to a new breed of
open-air rider, and change the future landscape of the performance market.”

Mothers' 1970 Chevelle “ProPane” to Debut

Mothers' 1970 Chevelle “ProPane” to Debut

at SEMA Show 2007

The team from Mothers Polish has another cool ride to add to its already impressive fleet of hot rods, customs, race cars and big rigs. It's the ultimate symbol of Chevy muscle, a 1970 Chevelle SS. But this build is more than just your average overhaul — it's resto-modded with pro touring in mind, and produces over 1,000 clean-burning propane-fueled horsepower without the aid of boost or nitrous.

The concept of ProPane was developed by Jim Holloway of Mothers Polish, designed by Chip Foose, and brought to life at Paul Gonzalez Custom Cars, who managed the build. A talented team of expert fabricators, suppliers and other friends of the Mothers family were recruited from throughout the automotive aftermarket industry and worked tirelessly until its completion. ProPane sports a unique tube chassis by Obrothers Design, which mates to an innovative inboard pushrod coil-over suspension dampened by Penske 8300 racing shocks and sports one-off Foose Design wheels and Pirelli P Zero rubber.

Thinking forward as well as “green,” the ProPane’s groundbreaking power is provided by a large-displacement Haigh Blocks small block motor with Propane Performance Industries fuel delivery managed with with a Link ECU. Any way you look at it, the Mothers ProPane is unlike any other hi-po Chevelle. Previewed earlier in the year with a developmental engine, the completed ProPane makes its world debut at the only place that seems fitting — the SEMA Show 2007.

WEST COAST CUSTOMS DEBUTS WRENCH AT SEMA

WEST COAST CUSTOMS DEBUTS WRENCH AT SEMA
LAS VEGAS CONVENTION CENTER - OCTOBER 30th - NOVEMBER 2nd

LOS ANGELES - October 26, 2007 - West Coast Customs, the world's premiere vehicle modification shop, is debuting WRENCH, its clothing line of shop and street wear, during the 2007 SEMA show in Las Vegas, October 30th through November 2nd.

Partnering directly with one of the world's largest manufacturers, West Coast Customs is looking to fill a void in the market place for well-made, affordable clothing that those working in "hands-on" professions will feel are comfortable enough to wear to work and fashion forward enough to wear as street wear.

West Coast Customs, CEO Ryan Friedlinghaus' personal style is the cornerstone of the WRENCH collection. Meshing together graffiti and tattoo type art, with many of the tools on a mechanics bench, the line is certain to appeal to those who live the lifestyle and work the trade.

"Anytime anyone works in a creative environment, elements of your personal style always come through a little and for me, it happens to be in the shop," said Friedlinghaus. "This line of clothing was just a natural progression for me and something I have really wanted to do for a long time. There is definitely a need for some cooler clothes for the average guy to wear to work."

Current offerings from WRENCH include:

Work-style shirts; Work-style shorts; Work-style pants; Mechanics gloves;
T-shirts and Hats.

Samples of the new West Coast Customs line, WRENCH, will be available for viewing at the WCC Experience booth at SEMA, Las Vegas Convention Center, the East End of the lower South Hall.
